La Yamashita presenta la nuova Egi-OH Search, la versione "Search" delle celebri Egi-OH, progettate per catturare calamari altamente attivi sfruttando l'effetto luminoso della tecnologia "Neon Bright" e l'effetto sonoro interno "Rattle". Rispetto al modello precedente, la Egi-OH Search è stata completamente riprogettata a livello strutturale e di azione.
Il corpo presenta lati piatti con una superficie ampia e riflettente, producendo numerosi riflessi durante la caduta e il recupero. Una pinna "Strobe Fin" nella parte superiore sfrutta l'azione del corpo piatto per generare una "luce stroboscopica" che stimola il senso visivo del calamaro. Internamente, è dotata di un sonaglio di circa 600 Hz, considerato facilmente avvertibile dai calamari.
La fase di affondamento è più veloce rispetto al modello precedente, adattandosi per cercare i calamari attivi a un ritmo più veloce. Il sistema "Neon Bright" emette una luce ultravioletta di nuova generazione nei tre colori primari della luce: rosso, verde e blu.
